Depart from Nairobi for The Ark or similar lodge. The Ark is situated in the Aberdare National Park, deep in the mountain. This unique lodge resembles a ship; overlooking a floodlit waterhole and saltlick which is visited by a variety of animals. Often seen here are the elephant, rhino and bushbuck. Occasionally a leopard or giant forest hog may be seen. Before driving to The Ark, lunch is taken at The Aberdare Country Club. Dinner and breakfast at The Ark or Campsite.
Leave The Ark after breakfast, to drive into Samburu passing through Isiolo, the gateway to "George Adamson’s" land of lions, reaching Larsen’s Tented Camp or similar by lunch time. Samburu is an open Savannah plan and in the vicinity of the Uaso Nyiro River. One can find the dik dik, rhino, buffalo, elephants, cheetah, leopard and lion. Unique to this area are the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, the long-necked gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx, of course not forgetting the hippos and crocodiles in the river and a hundred different species of birds including the Somali ostrich. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or in camp.

After breakfast, depart for Delamere camp, Lion Hill camp or similar. The Delamere camp is situated on the shoreline of Lake Elementaita, in the Great Rift Valley. The Soysambu Wildlife Sanctuary is a private sanctuary, hosting thousands of lesser and greater flamingos and the only Great White Pelicans; plus a variety of other beautiful water birds. In Soysambu, one has the opportunity to view game while on foot and to watch undisturbed birds form strategically placed points. Nighttime game drives are available too, giving one the opportunity to view aardvark, African wildcat, civet, leopard and white-tailed mongoose. All meals at the lodge/camp.
Leave after breakfast and drive to the Sarova Mara camp or Sekenani or similar, situated in Masai Mara; the richest game park in Kenya. Set up very naturally between two streams, the Sarova Mara camp gives you the opportunity to view a wide selection of wildlife such as lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard, rhino, giraffe and buffalo. Sarova Mara Camp is surrounded by beautiful gardens and lawns, with an abundance of exotic colourful flowers; truly a sight for sore eyes. All meals are taken at the Sarova Mara Camp/Sekenani or camp.
Depart after breakfast, reaching Nairobi by lunchtime.

BAGGAGE:
• Please pack light and using STRICTLY soft sided bags (domestic flights in East Africa restrict to
15kgs per person including hand luggage).
• Please note you may be subjected to customs declaration, any goods of more than $500 will be
charged tax, excise duty, VAT and any other levies in force. It is advisable to carry receipts if you have
new items you are bringing in and which you will not be going back home with.
• You will need a hat, sunglasses and sun screen
• Bring own insect repellants.
• Ensure if taking medication, you carry all your medicines, and preferably bat all times in your
waist money bag or ladies carry on bag.
• A warm jacket or sweater is required for cold weather conditions or in the mornings and
evenings.
• Smart casual wear especially for dining areas – all camps/lodges/hotels offer laundry service
• Camera and binoculars, plus battery chargers
• Please ensure you give us any specific instructions about your bags as we will handle them with
care but at your own risk and will not accept any responsibilities for damage.
• NB: If you have some old clothes or shoes you want to donate, you can come with them and we
shall gladly find a needy person or institution to give them.
Payments:
Our policy is instructions to book should be accompanied by a 35% deposit, BUT bookings made within
60 days to arrival full payment must be received.
Cancellation Policy :
All cancellations must be received in writing. As all suppliers’ charge cancellation fees, they are in turn
passed on to us.
Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length ofstay or reduced in number of occupancies are
subject to cancellation and no-show fees.
Following is the scale for cancellation charges:
35% if cancelled between 45 and 35days prior to arrival
50% if cancelled between 34 and 15 days prior to arrival.
100% if cancelled 14 days and 24hours prior to arrival
